Are these not just adorable? My daughter made this many many years ago and I decided this year I wanted to make some after so many people commented on mine. Here's what you have to have:
White buttons
Orange and Black paint (Michaels in the little bottles)
Red and Green (or any color for that matter) Felt
Bells
Pin fasteners
Hot glue gun
Use the button hole for the eyes and put on the nose and mouth using the paints.
Cut the felt pieces and hot glue them together slipping the button into a pocket at the bottom to secure so that it fits up inside.
Fold the top of the felt down to the side in front and secure with hot glue.
Hot glue the bell on the tip of the felt and the pin fastener on the back.
DONE and wasn't that easy and what a nice little gift!
