What a cute movie!! Meryle Streep is an excellent actress. When you are watching her on the screen playing Julia Child...she WAS Julia Child. She did not look or act like Meryle Streep...
The movie was really more about the other couple but was most entertaining when you were watching Julia and her interactions with her husband, sister, friends and cooking, etc.
She was so confident in herself and so funny.
I can't imagine typing all those recipes on the old typewriter with carbon paper...no correction liquid/paper...no electricity...no computer???
I want to get the book to read now but it will be hard to top the movie. I would have to say one of the best movies I have seen for a while.
Really makes you want to do something...you know!!!!!
